Characteristics of the Fláje location
A touristic and recreational mountain resort located on the ridge trail of the Ore Mountains, near the German border and the Moldava border crossing. There is also the Fláje water reservoir built on the Fláje Creek, which is as a source of potable water for the Most Basin. Under the dam is the so-called Fláje navigation channel built in the 16th century, which is approximately 5 km long and ends with a 75-m high artificial waterfall. Approximately 4.5 km southwest from the Fláje water reservoir is a peat bog. This location is a popular destination of bikers who enjoy slopes over Klíny, Dlouhá Louka and Mikulov.

The location provides a large variety of year-long recreational activities – hiking, Nordic walking, biking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (Český Jiřetín 5km, Klíny 10km), fishing, hunting, golfing (Cínovec, Most), a car racing track and a horse-racing track (Most 30 km), etc.
